Corrections

Every substantive correction we have published, newest first.

When we get something wrong, we fix the page and we say so here. Corrections are dated, describe what changed and why it was wrong, and stay up permanently — including the ones that are embarrassing.

Substantive claims only. Typos, formatting, and copy edits are not corrections and are not logged as such; padding this list with them would make it useless for the thing it exists to measure.

This log is empty because nothing published has yet required a substantive correction — not because the policy is decorative.

The policy stands either way: a factual error in a published claim gets the page fixed and an entry here, dated, describing what changed and why. We do not silently edit published pages.

Why this page exists

The standard this log measures is set out in full at /methodology, which describes how pages are researched, verified, ranked, and gated before publication.

Entries here are stored as source, not as editable records. Adding a correction is a commit; so is removing one. That is the only version of this promise we could actually keep.

Found an error?

Send the page URL, the specific claim you believe is wrong, and whatever evidence you have. We review every one, and we tell the bankers and deal teams executing transactions what we found either way.
